Travel Tips

- If you want to buy alcohol outside of a bar or restaurant, you can only buy very light beer at the supermarkets. Anything stronger, wine or ales etc, must be bought at a Systembolaget. The nearest is in Mellerud here. Please check opening hours.

What to do and where to go

One of our favourite swimming spots is Sundserud, just outside Åsensbruk. There are toilets, changing rooms and a communal bbq.
